Any time and every time there are browning bananas, you cannot go wrong with turning them into delicious banana bread. Sharing with you my favorite and all-time, go-to banana bread recipe. The best thing about this recipe is that of course, it’s simple (you can make it with a bowl + fork), but really… that it can be vegan friendly! I also love that it doesn’t require any eggs. Sometimes I bake so much, I run out of eggs and butter… so it’s nice to have a recipe that doesn’t use those two things.
Below’s the recipe if you’d like to give it a go. It’s so good and comes out perfectly moist every time. You can add in mix-ins of your liking if you like. I’ve done this recipe with walnuts added, or chocolate chips for a little chocolatey flavor, mixed in berries… you get the point. Enjoy!
Banana Bread Recipe
Description
Simple banana bread recipe that can be made vegan friendly — just swap out the milk!
Ingredients
Instructions
- Mash up the bananas. Add in the sugar and mix. Then add in the oil and milk; mix well.
- Now add in the flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix until everything is incorporated. Fold in any mix-ins (berries, nuts, chocolate chips, etc) if you want to at this point.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured bread pan (9″X5″) and bake in the oven at 375°F for 45 mins to 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean. Note: I usually cover the pan 30 mins in so that the top doesn’t burn a ton before it’s done baking.
- Let cool and enjoy! 🙂
